Meet MacNeil Masache (33) head groom at 5th Avenue Equestrian for the last 11years.
His favourite thing about working with horses is going with them to shows and watching them compete. “Also being able to understand the background of my horses and where they come from.”
He has done dressage with See You There, and he rides his favourite school pony, Charlie, at the yard jumping shows. When asked if he can see himself doing anything else in future, he said that he will be teaching riding lessons and be a professional groom.
See You There is his favourite horse, he was the first horse he worked with when he was only 4 years old, he is now 15 years old. “We have a very special bond. He is like my best friend.”
