Meet Brand Ambassador Hilton Ford
This talented eventer’s ambitions for 2022 are to qualify both Sir Galahad aka George and Rivervale’s Shades Apart aka Shady for 4-star level in eventing and in doing so defend the title at SA eventing champs.
All of this is part of a much bigger plan to qualify and ride in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, as well as the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. He has been riding for about 18 years. “My passion for horse riding was definitely initiated by my mom, who has supported me throughout our journey. Murray Pote has also played a huge part in my riding career, which took off after I started working at Rivervale Stud. He is one of the main reasons I am where I am today.”
According to Hilton, Sir Galahad has one of the biggest personalities he’s ever seen: he never fails to express exactly how he’s feeling. He has the most incredible work ethic and loves his job. Rivervale’s Shades Apart is a very laid back character but always puts his all into his work. He always seems to be very relax and happy as he displays his extremely, gentle soft nature.
