What inspired you to become a rider?

I was born into a horsey lifestyle.

For you, what are the most rewarding aspects of being a rider?

The relationships with the horse.

What’s your favourite memories or experiences related to riding?

Winning SA PR showjumping, equitation and showing champs, representing SA in Algeria and chin.

What’s your favourite go-to to prepare yourself and your horse for competitions or events?

Not my favourite stage, but I do love a clean horse and tack.

What challenges have you faced in your riding journey, and how have you overcome them?

I have faced a few, i find mental coaching has helped me with facing some fears. Having a team that supports you and backs you when you have challenges.

What are your current riding goals and aspirations?

To produce my young horse into the open grades and enjoy the process. To learn to adapt well to my new different rides.

Do you have a favourite horse that you’ve ridden, and what makes them special?

Desert Blitz will always have special place for me. He is just such a lovely boy with so much personality.

In your opinion, what stands out the most about ARCO360?

I think its the fact that people who you deal with are real horse people.

What aspect of ARCO360 gives you the most peace-of-mind when it comes to your horse’s wellbeing?

Knowing that when it goes wrong, i know my horses can get the care they need.
