What inspired you to become a rider?

My love for horses.

For you, what are the most rewarding aspects of being a rider?

When my pony is happy to see me.

What’s your favourite memories or experiences related to riding?

Clean my tack and lay out my riding clothes and everything I need the night before.

What’s your favourite go-to to prepare yourself and your horse for competitions or events?

I rode a 4-year-old, pony who wasn’t schooled and fell off, and then she stepped on my face. I then had to build up my confidence again to ride her. It was emotional and very challenging.

What challenges have you faced in your riding journey, and how have you overcome them?

What are your current riding goals and aspirations?

To jump clear 60cm and 70cm this year, whilst getting my pony to turn better and get more control on speed.

Do you have a favourite horse that you’ve ridden, and what makes them special?

Yes her name was Molly, she was a paint and sadly she went to heaven last year. She always gave her best and helped me when I couldn’t see the strides.
